Abandoned Delorean Located in Mozart, West Virginia

It's not abandoned, and it's not for sale. This car does the rounds regularly. I have seen it in person, and it's rotting into the ground. Restoration is going to be real expensive.

Its a shame, but we don't know the details and I think we just need to respect someone else's property.

There is a chap down the road from us who has tractors in his field, They look about 20 years older than this Delorean for merging with nature. He was in his 80's must have had 10 or so in the field and 20 in sheds behind his house. Never saw anything done with them and they were clearly worth a lot of money. Just heard he died a week or two ago.... I am not sure of the mindset but assume its "I will get around to doing these up"

Those signs look new, I wonder if they saw some of the posts going around about "saving" it or if someone told them.

Actually, I do know the details; that's why (and what) I commented. There are plenty of other DeLoreans out there that are actually for sale if
someone really wants to buy one.

I know the story on this and as long as the current owners are alive, and most likely as long as the family owns the property, that car isn't being sold for any amount ever. Why does the DeLorean community go on like this over a stupid car? Shrug your shoulders and forget about it and move on with your life.

So the local news to that area picked up on the internet blow up over the car and the owners are pissed to the max. Y?all better just leave that car (and the owners) alone and let it continue to rot into the ground. You know all the locals in that area are watching it like a hawk now. No way to get near it without probably having the cops called on you.

On the way back from Gettysburg I thought we would stop by and check out the West Virginia Mystery Delorean. Well it?s gone. Tree trimmers were working the area I must have just missed it. Anyway the mystery continues?

Ya it disappeared quite a while ago. I remember someone posted pics on Instagram shortly after. Hopefully it's safe and someday someone can recover it.

According to @DeloreanRental.com the car has been sold!

Hopefully now it has a good home and being restored.

The family probably moved it out of the public eye and told anyone that asked it's been sold just so all the psychos would go away and leave them the F alone...which is what they should have done all along.
