Fuel Pressure

I'm wanting to check my fuel pressure in the engine compartment. Not permanently but for some time. Any recommendations on gauges, hoses, pictures, what the pressure should be, basically what to do? Thanks!

The pressure is measured from the hose in the center of the FD. For control pressure (20 PSI cold to 50 PSI hot) you can just T a pressure gauge into that hose when the engine is running. For primary pressure you "dead end" a pressure gauge from that center FD location but do not run the engine. You just jumper the fuel pump to run and read the pressure (75 PSI).

If you get the K-jet pressure gauge it has a shut off valve. Closed for primary pressure, open for control pressure.
