I watch his channel every week. I find it entertaining. Just how many mechanics in the world do you think could have gotten that basket case all the way home? Probably less than 2 dozen. In this particular case most of the problems were self-inflicted because of the mess they made out of the swap in the first place. He also has another channel Vise Grip Lodge and his son has a channel Little Grip. Say what you want about him, he is a very knowledgeable and resourceful mechanic. Unlike most reality shows and You Tube channels, he gets things going without throwing a lot of expensive parts thrown at it from sponsors. He shows what can be done with a lot of knowledge, few tools, some parts, and a lot of persistence. He has a large following, that is what got him his show on Motor Trend, Rebuild Rescue on Wednesday nights.

I had no idea that he was a Tennessee resident until he posted that video. I've tuned in here and there but that was an insane journey he endured. Personally, I would've opted for a shitty DMC seat that was torn to sh*t to replace that god awful metal bucket seat for such a long trip.

I love VGG. The car is an old crashed car that was already pretty much scrap. He made something fun with it, took it racing etc. I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't really have a problem if the title read "I took a POS hack job with a metal seat cross country and hated it" but that's not what the title said.

He pretty much just trashed the marque without ever actually laying hands on a real DeLorean.
