Long time member, first time posting, with that said I'm excited to announce the SICArm(Significantly. Improved. Control. Arm); the first tubular A-arm LCA solution for both coilover and coil spring DeLoreans.

This system completely transforms and modernizes the handling of the car, outperforming current lca fixes on the market. After many hours of R&D, testing, and tens of thousands of miles of validation, this product is vetted and ready for your Delorean.

These are exclusively sold by my webstore www.lsdeloreanstore.com along with other performance parts and upgrades for your DeLorean with many new products to come

Fully adjustable tubular upper control arms are recommended and available alone or with purchase of a SICArm LCA set for a significant discount off list price

Its very exciting to be newest vendor to this community and to offer these parts to improve our cars! I encourage everyone to Check out the website and like and follow LS Delorean Store on fb for smaller updates

I checked it out last week - nice! Do you make the sway bar or is it sourced like the links?

It's made in house, I spent way too much time trying desperately to find something off the shelf with no luck. Not many cars out there that have a such a small diameter bar with that much depth, and most that even have something remotely close are far out of production. Definitely learned a lot about material selection for that application!

I assume the shims on the UCA?s are to adjust/increase caster? What is the adjustment range; the amount the arm can move rearwards from being centered for example.

Thank you

There's about 3/4in of adjustment that you can move the upper forward or backward to set caster, which is a lot of adjustment. I can't say what to expect with other lcas, but I have my car at 5.5 degrees and I'm no where near maxed out - it sits1/8ish from center iirc. I'd think you could get to spec (3.5-4deg iirc) even with a really wonky setup with these.

Shims are not my favorite method of adjustment since they take time to adjust vs sliders, eccentrics or turn buckles. For this application it's the most ideal given what you have to work with

I'm surprised not more people are talking about these after all the years we've all been wishing for wishbone LCAs! Anyone on the forum running these yet?

Between Lucas and I, we have over 30,000 miles on the initial prototype sets. They are very similar to the production units with the exception of the sway bar setup.
Im still running the prototypes and have no reason to change them out. Lucas did a great job on these.

I have a set of uppers and lowers of Sicarms on my car now for the past few months. It is night and day difference. I was running the side braces on the lower control arm and I noticed a significant different with the Sicarms. I can take corners are much higher speeds. It is hard to imagine anything is better than these. Parts look great. Welds are nice. Customer service is on point.

What coil overs are people using. I hope to get these LCAs and UCAs someday but can start with installing coil overs.

Where do you get them? Is there a part number or do they know when you tell them it's for a DeLorean?

That price is the same as anywhere else. I would choose a vendor who you know they have them in stock and ready to ship

I got my coilovers from here from Nick Reid:

Wolfgang Hank is the most prominent suppler, he runs group buys/sales on them sometimes.

Thank you for the reminder that I hadn't posted about them yet. It is the UCA's that I bought.

I modified my lower (stock) arm mount a while ago, to better center the wheel in the wheel well. Got a lot of flack about that! Putting that aside, I did install those UCA's to bring the caster back to what it should be. Those arms a great; very well made and if you don't have enough adjustment for caster with those, you have a serious issue. I needed them moved rearward a fair bit so I machined some spacers instead of using a stack of washers.

It is a bit of a hassle to adjust the caster since you have to remove the long arm bolt, swap washers/spacers around, put things back together, measure the caster, and repeat as required. It would be a little faster with the U-shaped spacers you can buy (don't have to remove the bolt). I've got 4 1/4 degrees one side and 4 degrees on the other. I'll tweak it a bit at some point to get it closer to 5, but it does drive very nicely now. I found that swapping one washer from front to back changes the caster by around 3/4 to 1 degree.

I certainly do recommend these if you want/need to change your suspension settings.
