Lemon Pledge

Someone once told me that Pledge furniture polish can be used as a stainless polish. Has anyone tried this on their car?

It stays too sticky and holds all of the dust and dirt. Not good for outside use.

Thanks... I used stainless steel polish instead. (Pledge smells so much better, though...)
