I was hanging out under the car this weekend hooking up the AC lines to condenser and all of that other fun stuff that comes with a AC rehab, and I can't help but notice how awful my fuel tank closing plate looks. It has patches of deep rust and while it is repairable, I'd rather replace it with something else, ideally stainless. It doesn't look like there are many options. It appears DPI's closing plate is specific to their frames, so that one is out. DMCH sells mild steel plates that are out of stock anyway. Has anyone installed the D-Go stainless plate? I have a metal brake, maybe I can just make one.

We have it for both. Updating drop down menu on product offering. It wasn't live in the mild steel frame section.

I pulled mine off when installing all the lines and hoses....I was horrified by what I found on the inside.....

I have.
Works great and arrived super freak'n fast.
At time time I ordered, the ss one was cheaper than one that could rust out, again.
