Robert: I know it's too soon to have an opinion about it, but what are your predictions about the attendance this year? I'm talking about numbers! I know that last time (2021) it was a lowkey Eurofest due to the pandemic, and 2016 was a huge success with 80 cars! (including mine, and it was a blast :) )

Do you think that this edition will be a great one? What are your feelings?

By the way... I myself am thinking about joining the party once again... :)

Eurofest 2021 was cancelled altogether due to the pandemic - it didn't happen. That means that it will be ten years since the international DeLorean community will enjoy another Eurofest. The DeLorean Revival Team have been working very hard over recent years to keep the original factory test track in good working order. There is much excitement with DeLorean owners throughout Europe and further afield about Eurofest 2026. Glad you are hoping to join the party!

That's the idea! I'm planning to do more or less the same trip I did in 2016, when I got there with VIN 3305 as well! That means all the way to Frankfurt, then Ijmuiden, boat, England, boat and finally Northern Ireland! After the event I want to travel briefly to West Ireland, cause I've got some friends there, then arrange the return! Last time we came back to UK, then France and back to Italy!

I am now angry at myself for not immediately buying a ticket for an event 8 months from now because I wanted to wait until I knew I could for sure attend, considering airfare from Canada, etc.

So I have screwed myself over?

Edit...I added myself to the waiting list.
Interestingly it would NOT let me proceed without entering my license plate even though it say "DeLorean Car Reg. / License Plate (DeLorean cars only) *".

After receiving no email for my placeholder reservation, I tried again.

The form acted better this time, allowing "no car" to be entered after I indicated I would not be driving a DeLorean.

Took me to a real order form, accepted my info, and I received an email saying I am on the waiting list.

I guess I have to remember 5 years from now to BUY AS SOON AS IT IS ANNOUNCED and worry about travel/vacation time later.

It amazes me that a brand that was in production for for just 24 months 40+ years ago seems to have an ever increasing number of followers. I mean, technically speaking, there should be fewer and fewer Ds out there as time passes.

The amount of cars existing/running/cared for/etc... will stay strong due to it's status and the current enthusiasts. Hopefully there are plenty around in another 4 decades.
Don't forget Houston has the parts to build+restore cars. Dunmurry tooled up to build ~30K cars and that helps greatly 45 years later.

I'd guess there are probably more DeLoreans registered and on the road now than there were 10 years ago. More and more of the cars that had been sitting in barns and sheds for the past 30 years seem to be finding their way into the light.

With values on the rise it actually makes financial sense to restore a barn find, even though parts to do it might be more expensive than they once were.

Took about a thousand photos and some video so it is going to take some time to sort through before I can post them.

Amazing (but tiring!) experience for someone like myself who does not travel much. Was great meeting owners from around the world (all the way to Japan!).
