How's the a/c motor wired? Somethings off on mine

Fan in my car, 10322, needs replacement. Got one from DeLorean Go, and I'm a little confused on how this wiring goes.

Left is the new one, with one plug, on the right the old one with four.

The motor in the car has this three plug splitter attached by a simple screw. I feel like that's not correct. I took a photo before I unplugged it, or well I unplugged just one before I got the idea to take the photo.

Yeah move the three prong ground to the new motor. The single terminal is the power to the motor.

Silly question (but maybe not): how do you separate the "squirrel cage fan" from the motor? I know there is a retainer nut on top... but is the thing pressed into the rotor?

I remember mine being someway stuck, maybe it's just rust... or are there any other screws or bolts to undo?

It should just come off after you take the nut off. At least mine did

And so it did! I had to just pry it a little bit, with the due care, and it slowly came off!

I replaced the motor and now squeaks and squeals are gone forever! (I was tired of oiling the damn thing)
