Are owners using 1/4" or 5/16" fuel hose. It seems the hose barbs at the accumulator and at the fuel pump metal lines are a little to loose with 5/16" inch hose. Its pretty hard using 1/4" hose but it can be done. I did use 1/4" at the fuel pump.

I just cut the original hose for the fuel accumulator feed (replacing just for safety). That is the nylon internal hose with the white braiding and rubber cover. That ID is 1/4"

I think I replaced all mine with 5/16 Gates Barricade and it was snug. at least it hasn't leaked in the last 2 years.

I have the same Gates 5/16 and it slips onto the stock barbed adapters easy. A clamp may hold it from leaking.

Yeah, I used Fuel Injection specific clamps on each connection. Been solid

Good to know 5/16" hose works. If I come across a place where the 1/4" does not work, I can use 5/16". I put a little grease inside the hose with a Q-tip and so far 1/4" has worked.

A standard 1/4" hose barb is 0.291". The DeLorean hose barbs are 0.315". So it looks like the DeLorean barbs are for 7 mm hose (tubing) or it was made that size to heat 1/4" tubing for holding without clamps.

Gates does not recommend Barricade EFI hose to be installed on barbed fittings. Several owners have experienced failures (me too)

Does it work? Sometimes.
