Long time since I did anything major on my DeLorean. Finally got around to installing new speakers from DeloreanGo. They sound decent...my old speakers haven't worked in years. I left the non functional head unit in place for the looks and went with a JVC bluetooth amp under the seat.
I am almost done, just trying to finish the wiring.
I need a place to tap some accessory power (blue wire) in order to energize the system. Is there any place where I can easily splice into in the relay area that is powered with the key in the accessory position?
Hopefully this makes sense...
Thanks
John

Just out of curiosity, which speakers did you buy from DeLoreango?

Did you notice any significant improvement? If so, can you tell me more about it?

:)

If you want a lot of power, just tap off the AUX relay.

This may help:

It shows how I tapped into the blue/white wire at the accessory relay.

Thanks Aaron, that is exactly what I needed!
Installation is complete. The only thing that gives it away is the Bluetooth controller on the center console.
I will try to upload some photos.

I used these speakers up front

And these in the back

And this Bluetooth amp instead of the factory radio

The sound quality is decent, much better than stock but still not alot of bass. I don't think I would bother using the old radio even if mine was working.
