Hi guys, I've been on a bit of 9/11 binge here particularly New York - documentaries, interviews, photographs, pictures etc. I stumbled across this. Very cool.

Thanks for sharing! I've been interested in WTC history for a while but have never come across that one before.

One thing I have always found fascinating was just how much new land was created on the west side of lower Manhattan as part of the WTC construction project. The angle of the image would have been positioned somewhere on newly created landfill that was built in the late 70's. That area would become battery park city. The building in the background next to the twin towers is the Barclay-Vesey building which is one of the few things in that area that hasn't changed much over the years.

That's brilliant you found the exact angle the drawing was made from.
