Window track

Anyone have any tips on getting the widow back on track? The rear seems fine but the front keeps popping off on the way up, leaving a gap at the front.

I had issues with my glass as well. I've learned that many strange things will happen with the window if you don't have good regulators (I recall your previous thread about repairing your original regs). You can try to loosen and adjust the window guides but you may never get it right until you replace the regulator/motor assembly. The cost sucks but I had to do it finally and unfortunately I threw away the pair of regulators and motors that were being replaced a few months ago.

I think you're right and I have a new regulator on the way. I'll leave the other door, as is, for now. !

I had the same problem and here are the steps to fix it:
You will have to remove the glass and reinstall it.
1) Remove upper support channel
2) Pull glass edge inboard and use window switch to remove glass complete with regulator cable.
3) Reinstall starting with cable and use motor to start pulling glass down.
4) Starting with front guide fingers use a needlenose Vicegrips to feed the plastic nubs past the edge of the front guide. A small flatblade screwdriver or awl helps with this procedure.
5) Repeat procedure with rear guide.
6) Reinstall support channel and upper trim.
Note- If window pops back off again then you have a bigger problem and you may need to adjust the tracks and/or install a rivet in the front guide finger. This can be a rather complex procedure. I'd advise seeking professional help at that point.
