I want to replace my dim head lamps and I saw some at pepboys, the sylvania ones ultra bright white ones, in the 4x5 but don't know if those will fit our cars? has anyone ever replaced them with new lamps?

Our main and dip head lights are 4x6, so the ones you have seen will not fit exactly.

Jfirios.

Below is the link to what I have used for maybe seven years and I drive my DeLorean daily. I can’t remember that far back when I first installed the plug and play Silverstar headlights that you can buy at a local O’Reilly Auto Parts store.
When reinstalling the four little Philips screws on the stainless steel headlight surrounds (bezel), use some tape wrapped around the screw to hold it onto the tip of the screwdriver. You will hate life if you drop a screw inside the front fascia and can’t retrieve it.
If you don’t plan on doing any driving at night then any cheap GE or Sylvania halogen light bulb will be just fine.

P.S. Instead of providing a link I was going to write it’s time for you to try using Advanced Search on this web site. But you probably already did and there isn’t yet very much information on alternative headlights for the DeLorean.

great thanks for the link. I remember seeing it on the old forum too. Yes I do love the advance search too. I am going to be replacing them this week.
