Are there any exhaust options out there already for a LS4 swap or am I looking at making something from scratch? I saw DPI has a LS3 exhaust, not sure if that would work on a 4. Not that I have a problem with custom making something, it just makes things a lot easier when parts are already fabricated so I figured I'd see if anything is out there.

DPI'S LS exhaust wont work with an oem frame. My understanding is all their engine swaps also require purchasing thier proprietary frame that's designed for thier engine package.

For LS DeLorean Store kits the owner is responsible for making the exhaust from the headers back. Perhaps in the future I would like to supply a bolt on exhaust for swaps, but for now I have other products that I'm focusing my time to.

The most common routing is a 2.5in "J" pipe for each bank that goes around the back of the cross member, between the suspension and through a 14in case center in center out muffler. Some owners fit a resonator or a converter before the muffler.

Getting exhaust tips to center and fit tightly in the stock cutout on the facia can be tricky.

Otherwise, I haven't heard of any other vendors making a pre-made exhaust for that application

Good call, I had read that it's limited to their frames but I forgot all about that until your post. No big deal, I can tig up an exhaust no problem but I just wanted to check it out first. I'm at the early stages of all this, want to rebuild with all new rings and bearings etc, still need to do the DOD delete and all that fun stuff. My 3.0 conversion is great and all that but I'm bored with nothing else to do on the car and want to go bigger. LOL.

I was unaware of this, That's actually great news, anything that helps make engine swaps easier is always welcome in my book

Is it just a manifold back kit that uses an off the shelf manifold? or is it a whole custom header, muffler etc assembly?
