Upgrade your car with a fuel metering setup that works.
This uses a normal float which is still widely used in vehicles today. The software in the microprocessor is calibrated to the fuel tank and the gauge follows this exactly.
Half a tank is really half a tank and the low fuel light comes on when it should.
I made this module in my own frustration because the inaccuracy of the OEM and the refabricated sender unit.
I tested this setup for a year and it has proven very satisfactory.
Already 2 happy customers.
In development of this unit i noticed that my own gauge acted differently then in another DeLorean.
Normal gauge has a bi-metallic dampening and moves slowly on its own, the other one can respond instantly. It is not really clear if this is a defect or a production change.
It is most noticable when you fuel up and start the car and see how the needle reacts.
Because i do not know who has which type i made a little Windows software program so every owner can easily change firmware in seconds.
