Hey, everyone. If you've come here looking for other New England owners, please note that the DMCNE club is no longer. About 6 years ago, another owner and I created the North East Region DeLoreans (NERD) and we're currently about 35 members strong (not everyone is terribly active, though). Before NERD was established, I did reach out to the founder of DMCNE (sorry, his name escapes me) to make sure our club wouldn't be redundant. He assured me that it had been defunct.

NERD, along with individual members, have a pretty consistent presence on the various Facebook groups. You'll see us on there often.

I manage a spreadsheet of our members, as well as an additional dozen-or-so owners/cars that we're aware of but haven't connected with. Yeah, we see you! If you're interested in being part of the club, or just want to say hi, feel free to message me or find me on Facebook.

Literally just got on here for the first time in years. anyone know of anyone servicing in this area? Rob Grady is out. Merry Motors is out. Silver Arrow in NH is out. I need my A/C system fixed due to some leaks.

Yeah, options are limited if you want to bring it somewhere. Typically we just do our own work. Read: I mostly rely on the talents of others :). The AC system is absolutely something you could tackle, though. If you don't want to lift the body from the frame, you can either get the two-piece hose kit from DGo, or the one from DPI where you crimp the ends yourself. You're not far from many of us. Maybe we can help? Do you know where it's leaking from?

Try DJ's Auto in Leominster. They've worked on my car including an r12 to 134a conversion. Ask for Danny, great guy, great mechanic.

Patriot Auto in Acton replaced my AC compressor a couple of months ago. The system had already been converted to r134a so I think it was pretty straightforward (I brought a Sanden unit that was recommended on this forum). Great to see a recommendation in Leominster as well!
