I am trying to locate the black / white wire on the parking break switch. From the wiring diagram it appears to be completely isolated from the rest of the car, and the two black/white wired I found behind the seats go to nothing. The parking break does work and the light does as well.

The single black wire behind the seat is for the rear 4 by 10 speaker hidden behind the vinyl covered wall panel. I tore mine out long ago and replaced with new semi transparent speaker wire.

Please see page 6/2/1 of the Parts Manual. Item number 11 is a screw where the ground wire terminates for the parking brake switch. The positive wire is connected to the switch. Warning Light Switch item number 3.

I believe I have correctly assumed what you are looking for.

I think the ones I found would be the speaker wires -- they were two separate black/white and black wires that, in retrospect, look like speaker wires (tied together). I thought I had followed them from the parking break switch, but I must have gotten onto a different wire.

The black/ black-white stripe double wire is the LH rear speaker.

The wire to the parking brake switch is under the lever carpet cover.
