After reading dozens and dozens of negative comments, jabs, and posts of just plain rude behavior(which regretfully I have contributed to), I remembered something the Fiero board did a few years ago:

Now that's something inspiring and to be admired....and something tells me if a similar situation arose here, Bill would be one of the first people to arrive and help.

Indeed iirc, Bill was actually planning a roadtrip with Farrar to Houston to give REB a long awaited first drive in a DeLorean, just prior to Roberts sad decline in health.

So we have our moments, but point well made Michael

It would have been noble indeed, but a sad moment if it took Farrar & Bill coming all the way from NOL and other parts afar just to give REB a ride in a DeLorean, when our local club was right here. I would have felt bad if you guys came so far, but I applaud you nonetheless.

The last time I saw Rob was at his art show in Houston, and at that time he still had not even ridden in a DeLorean, IIRC. And I left that night before he rode in mine. But I had made a long standing offer long before, that he could ride with me any time. He just never took me up on it. He only occassionally attended street meets and DeLorean events, probably due to his illness.

Anyway, Rob did get to ride in a DeLorean before his passing. For that, we can publicly thank Cameron Wynne.

So here goes: Thank you Cameron!

Glad to hear it! I wasn't sure if he was able to or not. Glad to see he at least got to do that and make such a big impact on the community.
