Call me crazy, but I kinda like the boosters on the car in the animated TV series. Frankly whole the whole look of the car seems better. I know that the whole home-made time machine look of the original movie cars is timeless, but I like a look at this a little more professionally done... :lol:

I just finished watching the series yesterday.

I hear you on that... but for an animated series with a Delorean in it, it was pretty alright... What did like was the way the rear boosters were made to be part of the car's rear rather than something mounted over like the movie car... But then again, this is an animated show.. :P

I watching this as a kid. My favorite part was with Doc (actually Christopher Lloyd) at the end explaining whatever science experiment they did on the show, then watching the as yet unknown Bill Nye the Science Guy performing the in home experiment. I stopped watching the show cause X-Men started to come on at the same time...

I just saw this last night on a Hub commercial for rescue bots.

From what I found out on the web Doc Greene built this as a experimental solar car but it ended up running away with him. I could imagine the animators laughing when they wrote this.
