my college is really starting to bug me

im attending washington state community college and have completed the first quarter of school. well my overall class grades are supposed to be posted on our personal student site by the school. i have not received any overall grades yet from them but my fellow student who is in the same class as i has informed me that he has received his.....why cant they give me mine if they've given him his lol???????

Boy I miss those days. Be thankful this is all you have to be worried about right now.

Make sure you don't have any "holds". The campus where I work won't release grades to students that have any outstanding balances like parking tickets, student fees, library fees and the such. Also, we have been know to hold grades until students have completed their course/faculty evaluations, an old practice that we no longer currently do. Contact the registrar and make sure nothing is wrong with your student account.

Thats one thing I don't miss. The university I attended had very few parking spaces and several people who wrote tickets. Lets just say I had my fair share of parking tickets.

I did too and $20 was pretty darn devastating. I could see enforcing on the weekdays, but on the weekends there was plenty of empty space and they would still ticket. It was that kind of thing that ensured no after grad donations.

Comes down to campus policy I suppose. Here they only ticket between 7:30am and 5:30pm M-F, all other times are a free for all unless a special event is happening. Something else I know you're not missing are student fees. Our university is currently up to $859/semester in "fees", this is not tuition or room/meals. When I graduated from this university in '04 we paid about $130/semester.

The deprtment screwed up my paperwork at the end of my graduating term and didn't get it turned into the Office of Graduate studies so I didn't graduate at the end of the term I had completed my classes.

Subsequently, I had to re-apply for the following term. The fee to apply for graduation is $20 - no big deal even though I already paid this last term. The kicker... if I want to pay online with my VISA there is a $50 "convenience fee.

nope, i got no balances, as it is automatically taken out of my student loan account. and no tickets so far luckily. breaking news however, 1 of my grades have posted lol.
