The only thing Delorean related about this post is I own a Delorean and my wife rides in it. I'm proud of what she has done in her career and wanted to share this with you. The family that was murdered were from NW Ohio. since we have a lot of members from Illinois and Ohio some of you may remember it.

Cindy was a homicide detective for 15 years. She was also the first female SWAT member in Florida and when she went to the police Olympics she not only out shot all the women but all the men too. She retired after 30 years on a Friday and started the following Monday as a sheriffs deputy.
Oba Chandler's Death Warrant was signed. A press conference was set up and 5 TV stations, two radio stations and the St. Pete Times showed up to interview her.
For those of you who don't know Oba Chandler was on death row, he took a mother and her 2 daughters out on his boat, raped them, duct taped their hands and feet, then tied cement blocks around their necks and threw them overboard alive in Tampa Bay.
Cindy worked the case for 5 years. It has been on national TV 4 or 5 times. If you have seen any of the shows then you have seen Cindy. There is also a book, "Death Cruise" by Don Davis about the case.
For a little background you can goggle Oba Chandler or Wikipedia has a good overview.

He was executed on 11/15/11. The world is a better place, there is one less evil person in the world. There are some people who do not deserve to live in our society.
