I'd like to confirm a complete list of grounds, as I am going through and cleaning mine. I am aware of the following points:

Washer fluid bottle
Near radiator on driver's side
Bulkhead connectors area
Under the coolant bottle
Passenger side trailing arm
Passenger side motor mount
Ring terminals on the intake manifold

What am I missing?

A list of grounds can be found on Bill's Facebook page.

I just changed the heater hose and valve, and noticed I'm right next to the trailing arm ground, so am I OK to remove that bolt and clean the ground, or will the trailing arm come apart? It's on one of the two bolts that holds a plate that holds the trailing arm bolt (or something like that).

Thanks!
Alex

Remove the nut on the back side first, then the bolt. Clean with wire brush or sandpaper the contact area where the terminal gets bolted.

Inspect the terminal for a good solder joint.

Er...I'm supposed to remove the nut from behind through that little hole next to the auto trans? I don't see what magic tool can do that. I think I'm going to leave it for when we replace the trailing arm bolts... :hihi2:

Thanks for the info!
Alex

You can get at the nut from the rear of the car facing side with an open ended 13 millimeter wrench. I held the nut study with said wrench, and then used an off-set 13 millimeter wrench to turn the bolt out.

Once you have the bolt out far enough, you can turn the nut off and out with your fingers. Its a tight squeeze, but it is completely possible.

I'll bet you haven't tried it on an automatic.....

This is true; I have not. I always forget how much bigger automatic transmissions are.
