Hi, car has been lying up for a few months. Previously had no starting issues. Try to start her and there was no go. Bought a new battery (badly needed) and hoped that would be that.
I know the fuel pump is working
I know the battery is fine
I know im getting spark
I have tried changing csv and wur but still doesn't start
Tried jumping the rpm relay

Not too sure what to do next???

Thanks

Does it turn over and try to start? Does it catch at all? Does the starter sound normal?

How long is "a few months "?

Could the gas be bad or very low? Can you siphon out what's there and get some fresh fuel?

Try a little starter fluid sprayed into the intake flap.

Thanks for the help,

Car is cranking, starter sounds fine but the car never seems like it even wants to start. Pulled out a few of the injectors to see if fuel is spraying which it is, im also getting spark. Jumpered the rpm relay and tried to start her - made no difference.

The car hasnt been started for around 3 months, i topped up the fuel around 1 month ago when trying to get her started,

Not sure what to do next, thanks for all the help

.

Put a little gas directly into the intake and the try, if the engine runs a little bit then you know you have a fuel problem.

The fuel you see coming out of the injectors may not even be fuel, it might be water if you left your vehicle outside for some time or if you ran a water hose close to the fuel tank cap.

No!

Never do that!

Put some fuel and then crank, otherwise you might get a backfire and get yourself burned.

By the way, since you started your first thread with your first post, in a Delorean forum, we are assuming you have a Delorean, if not, let us know what kind of vehicle you have.

Sounds like you might need to check for fowled plugs.

No need to pour fuel in it if the fuel is ok, pressing the metering plate down (assuming you have pressure) will prime it.

What if you have water in the system? What good that would do?

He already stated he have fuel? (something caming out) at the injectors.

Pouring liquid fuel in can be dangerous. A safer way to test if the ignition and mechanical systems are working is a squirt of Ether. Not too much, just enough to see if it will run for a moment. Once you can get it to run, even a little on Ether, then you KNOW you have a fuel delivery problem. If it won't even pop on Ether then you have a spark or mechanical problem. Pull the air box, hold the air sensor plate down and squirt a 1-2 second blast right in, let go of the sensor plate and crank it over. Stay away form the intake just in case of a backfire.
