The Lambda counter is located underneath the steering wheel. If you look way in the back near the brake pedal, you will see it. It is a tanish colored box.

What do you do to clean that? :) Just scoop it out and degrease with brake cleaner then add new lithium or something? I've got a bouncing speedo problem, have already replaced the angle drive and for historical reasons would prefer to keep the lambda counter. So next up I am going to test and possibly replace both the upper and lower cables, but if it turns out that my counter is gummy like that...
