Unidentified metal clips

Hi folks, another quick question.
Does anyone know what these are? I removed the binnacle yesterday (a major pain I might add) to replace a bulb that had gone out and remove stray paint flakes behind the clear plastic. I removed the instruments from the binnacle and noticed something rattling around inside the casing. To my surprise, all five of these fell out! I have no clue what they might be.
Any ideas?

Those are spring clips which hold the gauge faces to the gauge actuators. They are supposed to clip onto plastic pegs which stick out from the back of the faces.

:shock: Yikes! So they'll have to go back in again then. Now that you mention it I did notice the face of one gauge sticking out a bit.
I wonder how the heck all five came loose!

From the photo you attached I can see that at least 3 of the plastic tabs have broken off. If your guage faces come loose you may have to replace or try and glue them in place.
