Bought from DeLorean Europe in 2008. Tried to install it, but found there was no way to mount it to the 3.0L PRV valve cover. Looks good as new. $35 + s/h.

Try mounting it to an exhaust stud.

Worked for me with a Stage I header in place.

tc conners, are you using a stainless dipstick tube? There were two styles of dipstick tubes. The earlier style mounts to the exhaust manifold stud like you mention.

I have the stainless dipstick tube from DMC Europe paired with a 3.0L and Stage I exhaust.

I was not aware that there are different styles of the tube.

Are you running 3.0 valve covers or a milled 2.8 one? MOST 3.0 valve covers do not have the appropriate bolt hole for a valve cover mounted dipstick tube.

It looks like he's using a 3.0L cover. I have no idea how he mounted it. I'm going over to my garage in a little while to look at it once more, but either way, I've already sold mine to nullset.

Something tells me that even if I managed to make it line up with the exhaust stud, the dipstick would then be bottoming out before making a seal with the rubber at the top. I wouldn't want to "trim" my dipstick to make it fit, because anyone not knowing that I did it would not add enough oil.
