2011 Delorean Vendors Christmas Specials

I received a "double-postcard" from DMCH today. On the back of the postcard it says, "There's still time to shop for the Delorean lover on your list!" and has christmas ideas listed, but no specials.

This is my first Christmas season with my Delorean so I was hoping to find some specials; an excuse to buy some items for my car to put under the tree for my "mistress" as my wife calls it.

-As close as it is to Christmas, I would assume this will be all from DMCH, or have they always had Christmas specials in the past?

-Are there any other Delorean vendors having Christmas specials?

This is the best time of the year for me to spend money, with Christmas cash gifts and all, otherwise I will be changing my strategy on my personal priority list.....

They ran specials in the past and I think I got the card, but seeing no specials I recycled it. No sense in making a purchase now when I can wait and pay the same price in 6 months.

LOL Josh, because I have principals. What I say to your face is the same thing I say behind your back. I don't have time for James Espey and Stephen Wynne and their DeLorean One games. The only thing that is changed down in Texas is the sign on the door and one "character" in the DeLorean One drama has been swapped with another, different guy playing the same role. Not the kind of people I want to do business with anyway. It doesn't bother me if they blacklisted me (they or he *Espey* certainly removed me from their mailing list) for my criticism of their misleading marketing gimmicks and the inferior quality of some of their "improved" replacement parts.

But I have definitely been retaliated against by the "giant" down in Texas, so word to the wise if you don't want to be potentially blackballed by the NOS parts monopoly holder keep puckering up.

Bottom line I refuse to be pissed on and be told it's raining and I'm not going to kiss the elitists ass. There are other avenues.

I do not "pucker up" to DMC, Tim.

While I am a new Delorean owner, DMCH hasn't wronged me during my business time with them to cause me to have the same sentiment that you have.

I got that in the mail to. I thought the same thing as you and thought there might be some sort of Christmas special but there wasn't. Seemed like a wast of money on DMCH's part. I already know who they are, they didn't need to spend money to make that paper and then mail it out. I might have purchased something if they had some sort of special and they could have just emailed me. Ime sure they would have made more money that way.

WRONG! While I may not like a lot of DMCH's business practices I have never been banned from buying their stuff. I hate to admit this too, but sometimes they even have better prices on parts than some of the other vendors. Delorean One would never sell to white trash like me, and ALL of Delorean One's prices were higher than any other vendor.

I received the same postcard. No deals. Come to think of it, haven't heard of any deals in recent history with them. Tight purse strings these days.

What do you have available for the interior Josh?

Also, I am interested in any stainless steel parts you have...any new ones come up in the last month? i am interested in all of your stainless parts, they are on my list...just not my short list....
