The Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum will be hosting the S/S car collection from the Crawford Museum which is undergoing a renovation. The collection has a '36 Ford, a '60 T Bird, and a '66 Lincoln. Very likely one or more of these cars was an inspiration to JZD in his creation of the Delorean. I thought the Crawford also had a Delorean so I am surprised it is not part of the exhibit.

They had vin 500, and I'm hoping they still do. I was in it a few years ago getting pics. Interesting differences on it versus later production cars. It's the only car they have worth keeping.

crawford still has vin 500, from what i hear they loaned it to another museum for a while.
I had seen a picture of it (Vin 500) in Auburn with the other Stainless cars when this was first announced, are you sure it's not being displayed?

Vin 500 and others were at the Crawford this past July. Here are a few pictures we snapped while there.
