Honesty is the best policy so here goes. I had no luck with this so I had my Paris-Rohne unit rebuilt.
This was in my car for maybe a week and turned the engine 12 times at most. But I had some issues with it. (1) It would grind on the flywheel while disengaging ocassionally. (2) In removing and re-installing the top mounting hole has been slightly stripped. You can use it as is or Heli-coil it. (3) The stud on the solenoid snapped so a friend of mine Tapped threads into it and put in a bolt. Everything works as it should.
