Oil Filler Screen replacement

Hi all,

I need a new oil filler screen. DMCH emailed me they do not carry that part. Anything else I can use in there??

Can't it just be cleaned.

Its plastic, which I didn't realize, after I accidently burnt it. After I cleaned the vavle covers, I took my heat gun to dry them good, before I know it I see a little smoke and noticed I burnt, made a hole on the oil filler screen!

You can make one out of a piece of window screen. It is just to keep you from dropping anything big into the motor. The plastic one is a great indicator if the motor was ever overheated.

I guess my motor was in good condition, cause the screen looked great before I burnt it.
