It will be interesting to see what both of these cars will bring. Bet ya they wont show either of them on TV:angry: They have a good list of cars at the show. They are giving away a really nice 69 Vette for charity.

It's true. They'll probably cut to commercial. The only non-American muscle or American classics they actually televise are Austin Healey, Jag E-Type, and the odd Bentley. They pretty much skip all the exotics.

What was novel in 2005 now just seems an endless cavalcade of 'Stangs and Camaros.

I'd predict $28K for the D.

$39,600 with buyers commission.

I hope they aired it and someone(Jammer) recorded it to put up on youtube for our pleasure.

I see they gave it the honor of the worst time slot. What was the hammer price without commission?

I think buyer's commission fee is 10%, so that would be 36k

I also think the seller pays 5% of the bid price, so $5,400 goes to BJ for selling it.

Then again, it might be the other way around, 5% buyers fee, 10% sellers fee...either way BJ made out well.

They didn't air it (imagine that!). The show doesn't air until 7 o clock here in Fl. 39k is a pretty good amount for a D. Last time they brought around 23k-25k.

Surprise, surprise, they didn't air it. I'm starting to really dislike Barrett-Jackson.

True that! (and I'm even a 'Stang owner!)

I was at Barrett Jackson today to check out the car. I'm happy that the car sold for the price it did, but considering, I would have pegged the value between $18,500 and $20,500.

For the price it went for, I would have expected it to have been more "correct." The frame looked good, panels were all in good shape, binnacle was recovered and it had a late style, flat hood even though it is an early '81. Mileage was just over 50K. Interior looked good, but the drivers interior door will need some work. Overall, it was a nice example. Bummer it was at the end of the tent; dust and dirt had been blowing in and someone wrote "Great Scott" in the dust with their finger on the hood...

Congratulations to the new owner. Hopefully he/she is on the list.

I was there yesterday as well. The Bricklin went for $12,000.
