Came across this tonight while searching.

From the initial comment of the director in the embedded video, he comes across as a douche. I found an interview with him on YouTube talking about the film, and by his own admission it's not a documentary at all since he does fictionalize parts of the story with actors. Otherwise it's all news reels and stock footage that's been spliced together.
The stock footage looks very interesting, and I'd love to see it. But otherwise this flick is coming across like Ed Wood did a documentary and wound up making Plan 9 from Belfast.
