500,000 electric DeLorean models for next year with 100,000 orders already received
How many is that per day 13,000+? I guess Steven has become more streamlined than JZD
:headscratch:
Maybe their "0" key got stuck while writing the article.

That does it! I'm packing up and moving to Houston to help build these. I want IN on that 50 BILLION dollars of Electric DeLorean sales!

That's pretty funny. I guess it must be true since it's on the internet, right?

I'm PM'ing Stephyn right now about investing in DMC based on this information.
Honestly, how can any solid reporter write something like this without using a bit of common sense before posting it? I mean, he obviously believes this, the typo theory is out the window since he uses the same numbers a few times in the story.
He posted this info on location at some event, I bet the people who fed him those numbers are ROTFL right now.

I thought it obvious I was joking.

Clearly it is referring to 500,000 DMCEV HotWheels cars.

I like where he says "Only" 500,000. Considering that GM has sold maybe 7000 Chevy Volts against a target of 10,000 for last year, and the target for this year is less than 50,000, "Only" would hardly be the word I'd be using for that kind of number.
I don't think anybody proofreads for "common sense test" any more.

Aren't they going to be like $90,000? Seriously, besides really environmentally conscience people who are loaded, who's going to buy one?

Hey, they already sold 100,000 of them.:mallet:

And they have 100,000 ordered already!

Isn't this the same DMC that is currently out of stock on lower ball joints? I think they might have a little trouble coming up with a million of those in order to complete all these cars.

According to the local news, a new million square foot facility is being built in Patterson, CA by a company listed as "Company X". No one knows the name of the company.
I just figured it out. It's DMCH's new factory! They will probably be moving in the dies, molds, etc. in no time to start up production of the 500,000 Electric D's.

This thread and some theories are getting as ridiculous as the whole 100,000 ordered and 500,000 being built masturbated out by the press.

Perhaps the Nearoled plant has reached it capacity, and production is required to be restarted on Earth?
