Does anyone know what kind of bird chases off the reindeer in the Arctic scene?
This episode also has penguins who huddle together and a polar bear who tries to attack a walrus and becomes injured, dies not long after.

If you can find the video clip, that wold be awesome. I think that reindeer hauling tail from that bird and grunting is the funniest thing ever.

as a professional Bird Keeper, i figure i am qualified to answer this question. :biggrin:

the bird is called an Arctic Skua or Parasitic Jaeger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasitic_Jaeger). as you noticed in the show, they will aggressively defend their nests from any threat, human or animal. they also exhibit similar zeal in their kleptoparasitism, the act of stealing food from another (usually other sea birds).
