Meh, I'm a TNG fan, so I'll wait for the badge style communicator.

I'm not that much of a fan. Besides, 380+ bucks would buy some nice Delorean parts.

It would take a big fan to fork out that kind of money for a Bluetooth handset.

It would take a bigger fan to use it in public.

Says the guy with light up DeLorean shoes...

INterestingly it's build off a $30 prop/toy so it probably wouldn't be too hard to engineer. Besides, have you seen what some of us geeks will fork over for sci-fi collectibles.

The dude screwed up in the first 5 seconds of the video. It's not a 24th century communicator, it's a 23rd century communicator. TNG was 24th century.

Some people.

I have to admit as much as I love Trek, I agree $380 bucks would buy some nice parts for the D.

However if it was a screen accurate replica of the 1701-A or better yet the actual 1701-A (which sold at Christies for $125,000) I'd probably wind up divorced, car-less and homeless after I pawn everything to get my hands on it.........NAH!!!!
