For Sale Post Admin Approved - Mike :)
I have a 1982 DeLorean I would like to sell. The car is missing the driver side door torsion bar, transmission computer (car is auto trans), everything that has anything to do with the electrical system, and a few other things (list at bottom). The engine has a little over 26,000 miles and was running perfect last time it was driven 11 years ago.
The history of this car: The car was a daily driver in perfect mechanical condition till it was involved in an accident. There was front end damage to the car. The only part of the front to escape damage was the driver side fender.
It was taken to a Jaguar repair shop in South Florida that specialized in DeLorean repair. It sat there for a couple of years waiting to be fixed. I finally had enough of a wait and had the car brought back to me. Once I had it at home, I discovered all of the missing parts from the car. The condition of the interior was not mint like it was before the shop. I phoned the owner only to be insulted and threatened. I did not take it to court as I did not have the time or energy since I was planning to move out of the country shortly after. Though the owner of that Jaguar repair shop may not have fought Goliath, he certainly did come out the Wynner in this.
Fast forward to now. I no longer live in the United States but the car is still on my father's property in Miami, FL. It's been there for years and I've come to the conclusion that I am just never going to fix it. The best thing for me to do is sell the car.
The mechanics of the car should still be good. Body panels are not perfect, but excellent, The undamaged driver side fender is included though not shown in the photos. I am asking for the best offer over $3,000USD for everything. You are welcomed to go to the property by appointment to inspect the car on weekends. Please feel free to ask my any questions. albertsiegel gmail com
