From the March '12 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotics comes this clip, including a shout-out to DMCH, about an '83 5-speed that went on the block at the 2011 Toronto Fall Classic collector car auction - prices are $CDN, about the same as $US these days.

As a reference regarding the collector-quotient of our cars consider that among the other profiles for that auction a 1982 Mercedes 380SL shows as having an average selling price of $7,000 vs the average selling price of $20,500 for an '83 DeLorean.

Wow. Seems like a pretty good buy. I would likely have bought it if I were in the market at the time.
