Hey all,

Replacing the rubber seals and clips on my injectors and also found thin o-rings on them. However, DMCH doesn't have this o-ring listed in the parts list for the injectors at all.

Does this o-ring come with the seals?

Are you talking about the copper crush washers that go between the banjo fuel line fitting and the injectors?

No, a thin rubber o ring up against the rubber boot on the lower side of the injector.

What's the part # that you're referring to? There shouldn't be an o-ring on the bottom of the injector...

Pretty sure whatever O-rings you have are not stock. All you need is the rubber seals and the clips.

That's my trouble. There is no part or part number. I will take a photo and post.

It's not supposed to be there. Someone trying to overcome a bad seal I suspect. Just replace the seals.

+1

The rubber boots can become pretty hard and dried up over time. A lot of times they crack or split when you try to get them off the injector. The new ones are WAY more ductile and will seal completely.

Thanks everyone. DMCH is sending me new seals anyway, so this will sort it out.
