Did You Remember Your Baby Today?...no not your D...It's Valentine's Day!

Treat your significant other to something special. If you haven't planned/done something, get off your arse and go buy them something...

Do it, NOW! -- It's fun! -- Even if it's just to prove them wrong...:deviltail:

Those are one of my favorites! I get stomach cramps from all the red dye every single time, but if I eat it all fast enough before the cramps kick in it's totally worth it.

Started off with breakfast in bed. Always a win.

So am I the only one who first thought "Valley of Death"?

I think so. My dirty mind went elsewhere.

Man, red velvet cake. I once tried a red velvet volcano cake in Chili's when it was new. Dad fell in love with it. Bad news is red velvet is expensive; I once saw a cake for 13 bucks!

I know it's after the 14th, but I do want to say a belated Valentine's Day. Dad and I didn't do anything but I am sure my grandma enjoyed her card I sent her.

I acquired a 1980 Jaguar XJS with a 350 swap in lieu of the original V12. Since I never expect to have a girlfriend again, I might as well spoil myself.

I need pics of this!! My buddy has a V12 and that is quite the engine under that hood. Working on it is not for the feint of heart!

+1. the V12 engine in the XJS is a beast. your 350 should be much easier to work on. also, i like seeing pictures since they remind me of my old '86 XJS. :headbang:

i think chad's valentines day wins.

I didn't actually purchase this car, per se. I received it and some cash for my 1981 Mercedes 300SD. It's not a ready-to-go car, by any means, but its sure going to be fun when it is.

Here are all the pictures I have of it at the moment:

I also have a 1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in storage that I'm going to start work on in May.

My love life may be deader than metal cars, but at least my toys are fun.

nice, chad. i love the classic XJS, its so nostalgic for me. seeing those pictures remind me of driving mine back in 2001-03. it was my first car, and i will always regret selling it. im glad to see yours has the 'Euro' style dual-headlights instead of the American one-piece plastic. mine did as well. the 350 looks so 'small' in the engine bay compared to the V12!

im looking forward to progress photos!

I see much like a DeLorean your new Jag tops out at 80 mph. I know this because the speedometer says so.

haha. by 1986 they had changed the speedo to this: (not mine, just an example)
