We are priced the same as DMC on these at 649.00. I have six sets of the black left and then we will have silver and yellow. We are looking into buying the powder for SPAX to coat a dark gray like the original girling units.

The conversation came up with with SPAX regarding the same shock being sold in large quanities by multiple vendors. I can understand warranty issues, source of where a shock came from etc. It finally came down to DMC wanting to exclusive sell the black version. I laughed and said I didn't care. We had a solution for yellow units a year ago when black were not even an option. Custom vinyl wraps for the lower shock section (different front to rear). On a silver or yellow shock installed you can't even tell. I will post pictures tomorrow with how each wrap is serialized for warranty issues if a strut prematurely fails. Problem solved!

Non serialized wraps will be available on our store soon for owners who want to cover their existing or soon to be purchased yellow units from another vendor.

The Cheapest option for now since this is what you originally asked is to pick up a set from Hervey in yellow and a 5 dollar can of ceramic caliper paint from your favorite parts store. You won't be able to tell the difference with a little prep work and will save probably close to 100.00 or so.

Jon, I gave the ok on the final test plates for the reinforcement strut plate today at SW. Any day now they will be available!
