View Full Version : General Ordered "New" iPad Flux Capacitor app???

I ordered the "New" iPad on Day one, it started by being shipped from Shenzhen, China, Last Location: Departed - Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, Sunday, 03/11/2012.
I had mine engraved, I didn't think that would be done in China. I figured they would engrave it and ship it from somewhere in the US.
Anyway, has anyone downloaded Flux Capacitor™By Pocket Paradox, LLC? I'm going to the Celebration car show next month and figured I shut everyone up when they ask where the Flux Capacitor is.

I've had it since it came out. It was pretty awesome initially, but it's even better now that it's broken out into I, II, and III.
Definitely worth the purchase.
Was this thread just to brag about your iPad? :)

With all the geeks on this site I assume i'm not the first to buy the New iPad. Also it took me till the 3rd generation before I got one, so there's nothing to brag about.
Here's another question does anyone have a good GPS app? I have an iphone and use the one that's built in.

Do you have some video of the flux APP? I've held out on the iPAD till now and may finally get one. Was hoping they would make the chassis with square edges like the Iphone 4 and 4s and put Siri into it. I'm guessing someone will APP the Siri soon enough if it hasn't already been done. It does have voice recognition dictation.

I think that app can be seen on youtube. Looks good. And the iPad 3 looks incredible. The question is what engraving did you put on yours? I am
wondering if I should just get it without something on it.

Don't know if it will do any good but put my Name, Company, Phone and Email.

Come on....It's a dollar app. You just bought a ipad 3 and you're hesitating over a buck?
To answer your question, it looks great at night on the shelf, nobody will really know the difference or care, they just thought it was the best thing. I have it and used it often at meets but I couldn't let it out of my sight with the doors up.
Now I have a real FC that I bought off of ebay that I zip tie in place for the cruise in's. My wife is happy that I don't take her ipad away from her anymore.
I don't know what it is about the FC that sends people into that "extra high" mode. I have watched them go crazy when they see the car, but when they spot the FC on the shelf, the reactions go into overdrive...even people who just have a passing interest in the car spot it and their faces light up a little more.

part of my stereo install is going to have the ipad in a permanent mount position on the back will that will be able to swivel from horizontal for the spectrum analyser to verticle to display the flux app. And it is bluetooth to the HU so that the sounds will play thought the whole system.

I posted this a while back. Its fun, doesn't serve much purpose other than the "wow" factor.

Hey guys,
Well after all these years of not having any Apple products, we finally have an ipad in the family. I got excited when thinking I can now install and enjoy the flux capacitor / time circuits app. So.... imagine my <sarcasm> SURPRISE </sarcasm> when I learned that this wonderful app was discontinued just a few weeks ago, Oct 25.

I'm brand new to Apple stuff so please bear with me if this sounds dumb, but is this something that can easily be copied from someone that has it? Would anyone here be willing to send me a copy if possible? Thanks!

Not that I condone piracy, but since it can no longer be purchased, a cracked version is your only choice. I believe it is as simple as downloading it on your PC/Mac and dragging it into iTunes.

Thanks Patrick. I knew there must be a way. However, it seems that all the links on that site are broken. I did a google search and found one other page with a "cracked" version, but none of those led anywhere either.
I swear, this just figures. It's like they knew at headquarters of my looming first time Apple purchase, and immediately started proceedings to pull it from the App store.
Corporate conversation from mid-October: "Sir! It's come to our attention that Derek might finally be able to enjoy that BTTF app that's been out for years." (voice gravely replies): "You know what to do...."

Is there a flux capacitor and time circuit apps for the Android?

If they made it for iOS there's a chance they did for android. And if it was killed on iOS then it would've been on android...
I happen to have the iPhone version, and found I could still get the iPad version! The only thing I don't like is it's the flux capacitor, speed readout (the two digit display box),and plutonium chamber gauge. Would be nice if I could just see the flux capacitor and that's all...

It's a universal app so the "iPad version" is the same thing as the "iPhone version". Since Apple didn't pull it from the App Store for any violations, you have the ability to redownload it even though it's no longer available for new purchase. So you're not getting something you didn't have before, you're just putting the same thing on a different device.
As for the digital speedometer, that's there so you can see what speed you're going when you touch the screen. The plutonium chamber gauge (and the reset button) are there so you can refuel.
