No Power

Yesterday I went to move my car just to get out of the way to have access to another vehicle. I turned it on and it immediately died, along with all the power in the car. No lights were working or any power whatsoever. I removed the battery, reinstalled and there was power again. I went to crank and all power is gone again, this time before cranking. My battery is good and terminals are tight. I haven't taken a really good look at it, but I'm about to right now. I just wanted to know if this has happened before, or what could be causing this to happen. Anyone have any experience with this?

After you replaced the battery and tried to start the car was there any clicking? Sounding perhaps like something loose. Battery got a good charge? You have a low enough vin that the starter modification may not have been performed but that would not explain a complete loss of power.

Anything along the lines of a battery disconnect switch on your car or some kind of security interlock tied into it? Sounds more like battery related than fuel pump, coil, inertia switch if everything is dead. Do the spots that are always supposed to have power, have power, like the clock or horns? Could be related to the "accessories" turn of the ignition depending.

Thanks for the input, jacking up the rear end helped find the problem quick. Turns out it was just a loose starter wire.

Haha, nice! Someone on here used to have a signature along those lines... Bash it on the ground a few times and you should be good!

Make sure you don't expect a beep though, you know where the horn actually is! And that hitting the gas pedal definitely worked for me in a hot start situation
