Wasn't there a guy on the old forum who had one of the pilot cars? I believe his name was Alistair or something? Can't remember if this is his car or not. For some reason I feel like his car was a later pilot than this one. I know Ken Koncelik has Pilot 21 here in Cincinnati.

There was a thread about this on here a while ago. Still surprised it hasn't been sold to a collector. If I was a collector, I would buy it. :)

to each his own, i guess... but if i owned a pilot car i would keep it as original as possible.

Alistair had P25 and he sold it in 09 to another guy in Ireland.

Seeing as the pull straps were an afterthought, I'd say it was a convenience piece.
