Delorean Sighting - Nashville

A friend sent me this pictures yesterday of a Delorean that was 5 minutes from my house. The picture was taken at exit 219 off of I-40 in Nashville.

The Tahoe had Tennessee plates too but I have no idea who it was.

Anyone know who this is?

I think that may be bikercmbc from Knoxville. He just bought another D, was bringing it home from Alabama one of these days.

Confirmed! It was bikercmbc from Knoxville and I stand corrected, it was a Yukon towing, not a Tahoe.

Let this be a lesson to other Delorean owners, if you come through Nashville we will know about it! :smile:

Yep it was me. Pick the car up in north north Mississippi. Literally the guys back yard was on the miss/tn line. It's going to a good project. Already started on sorting it out. Fuel system needs cleaning and will need the pulse coil under the distributor and hopefully it will run. I put some more picks of it up here in a little bit

Are the pics of the car with the fascia parts disassembled the same car as the one on the trailer?

Looks like a pretty tidy car anyway.

They are. The car is staying at my friends shop until I get it driving and I didn't want someone to take a memento off the car cause the shop is right off a 5 lane highway.

Yeah fuel tank is coming out. New pump, neck, and boot. Plus new hose in tank and filters before I'll turn it over. Also will be getting a new filler and cap

Yes that's 10801. Fuel is cleaned out and that varnish in the tank does not come off your skin. Injectors are still spraying good on the bench. Cleaning all components this evening and will order parts sometime this week

That's probably because there aren't that many around here (at all). And Nashville is a fairly spread-out place.
