Idle Speed Problem - No Start

So as a result of yesterday's SEDOC tech day, I got my idle speed adjusted. Unfortunately the adjustment didn't work as planned, since after the car reached its operating temp, it idled far too high - 1000 to 1100 or so.

A little while ago I decided to go ahead and readjust it on my own, but in loosening the adjusting screws I did something bad. I think I was a little overzealous in loosening the screws and I don't know what combination caused my current problem, but now my car won't start at all. The fuel pump doesn't even prime.

the idle screw is not related to the fuel pump priming. sounds like 2 different things. Did you verify the RPM relay is okay??

Is your battery dead? Like stated, the adjustments and idle switch have nothing to do with the pump prime function.

If the idle motor is not working, you should be able to start it giving it a little throttle while your craning the engine. Maybe if you knocked off a wire on the resistor block, that may kill the prime function on the OEM RPM relay.

Nevermind folks, false alarm.

One of the things I happened to think of during this process is that I had the car on jack stands in the rear. (I'm also adjusting my emergency brake.) I figured the tilt forward may be preventing fuel from getting to the engine since I only have about a quarter tank. In trying to diagnose the issue along with Buddy, he made a few suggestions and eventually said it could definitely be the tilt that's causing it. Sure enough, once I got the car off the stands, the engine started with no problem at all.
