How are Marty's sport shocks from DMC midstate?

I would. For some reason I was under the assumption that he wasn't selling the kits anymore, maybe something about the availability of the shocks.

Was there a sport and a non-sport version of these once upon a time? I bought this set when I got my car and don't remember if mine were considered sporty (early 2008-ish). That price sounds about right. When I got my car, my RR shock was leaking. It was about $75 to buy a NOS one, so for basically the same price to buy news one all around, I went with the new versions. I don't really have anything to compare them to, but I have no complaints of the ones on my car. I like the feel of the ride in my car, but then again, that could be affected by 10 other things too. IIRC, Dave and Julee pointed me to Marty originally as the next best option over NOS.

I have been running a set for about 7 years. They're very good no complaints at all.

I have a set fitted since 2007. Very happy with them. Excellent handling with a good level of comfort too!

Bought mine in 2009. Mine are all KYB GR2 type shocks (pretty sure). I think Marty previously sold a mix set of KYB & another (Monroe, perhaps?).

They're good, right in the moderate ride category. Not rock hard, & not Caddillac floaty.

Great shocks.

Ran them for 4 years on my first Delorean. When I ended up selling it and replacing it with another D..........I put Martys shocks on the 2nd one too!! Few years now on my current set.

KYB , who's shocks I use, has changed the design on the shocks we used to use and made them no longer workable for the D. BUT - in working with them they do have an upgraded unit that we have been using with great success. The only problem is these new/upgraded shocks cost $25 more each, which adds $100 to the original $340 cost of the kit, which makes the new kit $440. If you are interested it takes me about a week to make all the parts and put a kit together.

Do you think these are the same shocks as special T?

I had requested info about the shocks a few months ago, and he informed me he no longer sells them. Too many options available now I think was the main reason.
