Swapping a Duc for the new DMC Alternator

OK... I'm stuck.

Removed the Duc Alt and getting ready to instal the new DMC one. I get where the battery wires attach to the screw post but what about the single lead with the connector coming off the alternator? Where does it go?

The original Duc had a second plug which does not fit the the new alternator. I was under the impression that wasn't needed with the new one.

I'm lost. Please help.

The original alt had a connector with two additional wires - remove the old connector from the harness. The new connector supplied with the alt goes to the brown/yellow wire. Tape back and insulate the solid brown one, it's not needed anymore.
