Timing chain guides

Does anyone happen to have a picture of a new or lightly used timing chain guides? This is the guide that the tensioner pushes against the chain and it is curved shape. They are supposed to be flat, correct? I found a few floating around in my parts boxes and wonder if they are any good or not - they have grooves worn into them and I'm curious as to whether I should save them or toss them. Thanks for any info

This is one off of a 30k mile engine. Has slight wear, I would assume its normal but I don't know how bad yours are.

Wow, these are quite different from the ones I have. The grooves are quite deep and I have no idea how many miles the engine had these came off of but I'd suspect over 100K comparing to your info and picture. Glad these were only spare - think I'll toss them. Thank you

Actually to me they look pretty normal for a 30K engine. New would be better but if it was all you had you could use them. If the plastic is through to the metal or cracked you have a problem.

They look great compared to my spares. I'd reuse those in a heartbeat. I was talking about my spare guides that have some pretty deep grooves. I haven't seen these to determine what is worn and what isn't since the pictures on the internet are pretty generic - that is why I asked here. Basically I am trying to go through all my boxes of PRV parts and some guides were in one. Now I need to figure out what to do with 10 spare pistons/liners..... Thanks again guys.
