vacuum line in center console disconnected

I accidentally disconnected the tiny vacuum line that runs from the rear of the car, through the center console and hooks up to the _______. Its still connected at the rear but I need to hook it up again under the dash...

Something on the mode switch - can I find it by feel?

The thin line is definitely NOT part of the mode switch vac lines.
I recently rebuilt the mode switch and noticed the thin line.

However I have not traced it to its actual connection.
So this is only part of your answer.

The tiny line runs to the hot water valve, and doesn't connect to the mode switch. It hooks up to a T connector on one of the other vacuum lines.

Perfect...

I figured it was likely for the hot water valve, but there was no connection for it on the back of the temp control knob/assembly, so I gave up on that theory.
