Recently this has started blowing. Typically, it will hold and function till you try to roll down a window, then it lets go, some times. Most of the time, you can roll down the window fine, but occasionally you press the button and "pop" goes the fuse.
I know, I could probably figure this out by cracking out the multimeter, however this being an intermittent fault it might be very hard to trace. Is there a spot in the harness that is a frequent source of chafing that may be going to ground when I activate the switch?

You do not mention whether you have the factory or the new DMCH window switches.
With the old ones, it could be age that makes the interior electrics get a lot of play or even too loose to operate properly.
You could disconnect the plug from the switch and by using the pin contacts try and see if the contacts operate the window without shorting (tru over and over and over).
If that's the case, your switch is gone.
If it happens again, it's somewhere in between the plug and the window motor and its connections.

What he said. Usually the switch itself is the failure. I can't say that I've ever seen a bad window motor blow fuses.
Pull the switch out and look at it, often you can see that the connector is melted and the pins on the switch have rotated slightly.
